From Denver, take US Highway 285 about 20 miles south to Pine Junction. Turn south on Jefferson County Route 126. About 22 miles from 126 south, take National Forest System Road 211, also known as Matukat Road. Go west on NFSR 211 about 11 miles to the campground. Travel time from Denver is approximately 2 hours.

We were able to get site 9 in the stream, with shade and sun. It was a big place and you felt free from everyone. Becky and Kirk are the Camp Hosts and do a wonderful job of keeping the place clean. The vaulted bathroom was amazing, the best I've ever been in. Highly recommended

Great little spot for a weekend getaway. It's quiet and with only ten spots, you feel like you're in a private oasis.. The hosts Becky and Kirk were great and very sweet.

Several camps were located near a river. If the campsite is full, more scattered campsites are quite close. Bathrooms on site and great walking.
